This wreath is constructed using the woody stems of a magnolia tree, complete with its velvety, fuzzy flower buds still tightly intact along the twisting branches. You won't find another wreath like it as these stems came from a tree that was pruned by request, and wouldn't otherwise be available.
Woven into this organic, textured framework are bright flecks of yellow from strawflowers gown in my garden, and button-like billy balls, evoking the last lingering warmth of the sun as it fades into autumn.
